How we can help you
We provide a full range of classic car services. Whether your classic car is your daily runaround or only brought out for special occasions, we would like to think that we could be of use to you at some point.
We have experience in working on a broad range of classic car makes and marques, from 1929 Model A Ford, 1947 Merc 170, 1938 Morris, to a range of more modern classics from the 1960's, 70's and 80's such as Mazda MX5, Toyota MR2, MG's, Triumph Stag, Citroen Dyane, Lotus Esprit, Corvette, Porsche and Austin Healey, as well as a number of camper vans.
In recent years we have done a range of work on iconic Bristol motor cars, including 401's, 408, 410's and 411's.
Obviously there are many factors to consider when undertaking work on any classic car, from budget and deadlines to intended use of the vehicle and long-term plans. We welcome your involvement in the process and encourage you to call in any time but can also keep you updated by phone or email. For major projects, we have a "pay-as-you-go" scheme and we keep a photographic record of work undertaken so that you can have a complete portfolio which forms a tangible and valuable component of your car’s history.
If your vehicle is coming in for routine servicing etc, we are usually able to collect and deliver
within a 10 mile radius but please check availability when you make your booking. (Conditions apply)

Mechanical repairs and servicing
To keep your classic car in good working order regular servicing and general “going over” is crucial. We are experienced in carrying out a whole range of mechanical repairs using the best quality replacement parts available from a variety of trusted suppliers.
Welding
We have gained an excellent reputation for our expertise in welding and are pleased to work on small repair jobs such as sills and floor pans, or larger jobs such as complete chassis restorations.
Very often replacement parts are not available for areas that need welding so when the corroded sections have been cut out, we can make new panels that are then inserted and welded flush. This ensures a final finished product that shows no trace of the repair. All panels are treated with rust inhibitor prior to painting.
Storage, recommission, Historic rally preparation
Many classic cars go into hibernation over the winter period. We are happy to carry out the necessary preparation and then the subsequent recommissioning when the weather improves.
Restoration
We pride ourselves on our ability to carry out sympathetic restorations where originality is of paramount importance. If you, like many of our customers, are keen to be hands-on and do as much as possible of the work yourself, we are happy to provide specialist services, such as welding, so that you can then continue the restoration project in your own time at your premises.
MOT Preparation and repair work
When your MOT is due, you might like to bring the car in to us to check over first. We can arrange the test with our local MOT testing station which has become familiar with a wide range of classic cars which we take in. If necessary, we can carry out repair work identified in the MOT and then take the car back for re-test.
